DHL Shipment Tracking

Track a DHL shipment from our universal tracking tool, whether you have an Express waybill or a supported DHL parcel reference. Confirm the number, then open DHL’s official tracking page.

DHL is preferred when the number is ambiguous. You can choose another carrier below.

Which DHL number should I use?

DHL Express commonly uses a 10-digit waybill. Supported DHL patterns also include JJD, JD and GM references. Formats differ by division: keep the full reference from the label rather than trimming it to ten digits.

Format example: 3049128471. Examples illustrate identifiers, not live shipments.

DHL Express, eCommerce and parcel services

DHL is not a single tracking-number format. The universal tool recognises several patterns and routes to DHL’s shared official tracking entry point. Check which DHL division the sender used if the record is missing; a merchant order reference and an individual parcel identifier are not interchangeable.

Milestones and delivery partners

DHL eCommerce tracking can use milestone events rather than a scan at every stage. A destination delivery partner may hold the next local record. Read any partner name or alternate reference shown by DHL and check that operator’s official site for the final-mile information.

If your DHL number is not found

Compare the full reference with the dispatch message and check that the correct division received the goods. A generated label is not proof of handover. Use DHL’s service-specific guidance or ask the sender to confirm acceptance before treating the missing record as a lost shipment.

One universal tool, official carrier records

You can use the same tool for other supported services. Numbers are processed in your browser; status appears on the official carrier page. Where prefill is unavailable, copy the number and enter it there. For broader reference guidance, see parcel & courier tracking.
